No foreign or alien society shall transact business in this\n\nstate without a license issued by the Insurance Commissioner. Any\n\nsociety desiring admission to this state shall comply substantially\n\nwith the requirements and limitations of this act applicable to\n\ndomestic societies. Any such society may be licensed to transact\n\nbusiness in this state upon filing with the Commissioner:\n\n1. A duly certified copy of its articles of incorporation;\n\n2. A copy of its bylaws, certified by its secretary or\n\ncorresponding officer;\n\n3. A power of attorney to the Commissioner as prescribed in\n\nSection 35 of this act;\n\n4. A statement of its business under oath of its president and\n\nsecretary or corresponding officers in a form prescribed by the\n\nCommissioner, duly verified by an examination made by the\n\nsupervising insurance official of its home state or other state,\n\nterritory, province or country, satisfactory to the Insurance\n\nCommissioner of this state;\n\n5. Certification from the proper official of its home state,\n\nterritory, province or country that the society is legally\n\nincorporated and licensed to transact business therein;\n\n6. Copies of its certificate forms;\n\n7. Such other information as the Commissioner may deem\n\nnecessary; and\n\n8. Information showing that its assets are invested in\n\naccordance with the provisions of this act.\n\nB.
