Stat. tit. 36, § 36-2731.1","heading":"Suspension, revocation or refusal of license of foreign","body":"or alien society.\n\nA. When the Insurance Commissioner upon investigation finds\n\nthat a foreign or alien society transacting or applying to transact\n\nbusiness in this state:\n\n1. Has exceeded its powers;\n\n2. Has failed to comply with any of the provisions of this\n\narticle;\n\n3. Is not fulfilling its contracts in good faith; or\n\n4. Is conducting its business fraudulently or in a manner\n\nhazardous to its members or creditors or the public;\n\nthe Insurance Commissioner shall notify the society of such\n\ndeficiency or deficiencies and state in writing the reasons for his\n\nor her dissatisfaction. The Commissioner shall at once issue a\n\nwritten notice to the society requiring that the deficiency or\n\ndeficiencies be corrected. After such notice, the society shall\n\nhave a thirty-day period in which to comply with the Commissioner's\n\nrequest for correction. If the society fails to comply with the\n\nrequest, the Commissioner shall notify the society of the\n\nnoncompliance and require the society to show cause on a date named\n\nwhy its license should not be suspended, revoked or refused. If on\n\nsuch date the society does not present good and sufficient reason\n\nwhy its authority to do business in this state should not be\n\nsuspended, revoked or refused, the Commissioner may suspend or\n\nrefuse the license of the society to do business in this state until\n\nsatisfactory evidence is furnished to the Commissioner that such\n\nsuspension or refusal should be withdrawn, or the Commissioner may\n\nrevoke the authority of the society to do business in this state.\n\nB.
