Stat. tit. 36, § 36-2806","heading":"Bylaws; permit to do business","body":"Every such association shall adopt such bylaws not inconsistent\n\nwith the laws of this state and of the United States, which, in the\n\njudgment of its members will best subserve the interests and\n\npurposes of the association. The members of every such association\n\nshall be held by the laws of this state to comply with all the\n\nprovisions and requirements of such bylaws, and the terms of their\n\npolicies of insurance shall be deemed to carry such bylaws, as a\n\npart thereof and shall so specify. The bylaws shall contain a form\n\nof certificate of insurance to be used. A copy of all bylaws\n\nadopted, all amendments, and changes therein shall be filed with the\n\nInsurance Commissioner, for his approval, before becoming effective,\n\ntogether with a list of the members at the time of organization.\n\nWhen such association has been duly organized and has adopted bylaws\n\nin accordance herewith, the Insurance Commissioner shall issue his\n\ncertificate to that effect, whereupon such association may commence\n\nbusiness and grant insurance.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"baad394ed29453122850d2d64c614e4ff583ac86ba8f0ed8efbe2330c779073e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-2805","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-2807"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
