Stat. tit. 36, § 36-2919","heading":"Who may be subscribers","body":"Individuals, partnerships, and corporations of this state may\n\nmake application, enter into agreement for and hold policies or\n\ncontracts in or with and be a subscriber of any domestic, foreign,\n\nor alien reciprocal insurer. Any corporation now or hereafter\n\norganized under the laws of this state shall, in addition to the\n\nrights, powers, and franchises specified in its articles of\n\nincorporation, have full power and authority as a subscriber to\n\nexchange insurance contracts through such reciprocal insurance. The\n\nright to exchange such contracts is hereby declared to be incidental\n\nto the purposes for which such corporations are organized and to be\n\nfully granted as the rights and powers expressly conferred upon such\n\ncorporations. Government or governmental agencies, state or\n\npolitical subdivisions thereof, boards, associations, estates,\n\ntrustees or fiduciaries are authorized to exchange nonassessable\n\nreciprocal inter-insurance contracts with each other and with\n\nindividuals, partnerships, and corporations to the same extent that\n\nindividuals, partnerships and corporations are herein authorized to\n\nexchange reciprocal inter-insurance contracts.
