Stat. tit. 36, § 36-3003","heading":"Application for license; contents; kinds of insurance","body":"authorized; financial statement; process.\n\nThe attorney shall file with the Insurance Commissioner a\n\nverified application for license setting forth and accompanied by:\n\n1. The name of the attorney or attorneys and the title under\n\nwhich the business is to be conducted, which title shall contain the\n\nname Lloyds, and shall not be so similar to any name or title in use\n\nin this state as to be likely to confuse or deceive.\n\n2. The location of the principal office.\n\n3. The kind or combination of kinds of insurance to be written,\n\nas defined in Article 7, (Kinds of Insurance; Reinsurance; Limits of\n\nRisk) of this Code.\n\n4. A copy of the form of power of attorney by virtue of which\n\nthe attorney is to act for and bind the several underwriters, and a\n\ncopy of the articles of agreement entered into between the\n\nunderwriters themselves and the attorney.\n\n5. The names and addresses of all underwriters, whose number\n\nshall not be less than three.\n\n6. A financial statement showing in detail the assets\n\ncontributed or accumulated in the hands of the attorneys-in-fact,\n\ncommittee of underwriters, trustees, or other officers of such\n\nunderwriters at Lloyd's, together with the liabilities incurred and\n\noutstanding and the income received and disbursements made by the\n\nattorney for the underwriters.\n\n7. An instrument executed by each and all of the underwriters\n\nspecially empowering the attorney to accept service of process for\n\neach underwriter in any action on any policy or contract of\n\ninsurance, and an instrument from the attorney to the Insurance\n\nCommissioner delegating the attorney's powers in this respect to\n\nsuch Insurance Commissioner.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4e26bc35d04926349c1d3f3eec82bfe9ebfc1a4ae6f7fbf1b227b23a9dab851a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-3002","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-3004"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
