Stat. tit. 36, § 36-3202","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Child Health Insurance Reform Act:\n\n1. \"Child health supervision services\" means the periodic\n\nreview of a child's physical and emotional status by a physician or\n\nother primary health care provider or pursuant to a physician's\n\nsupervision;\n\n2. \"Review\" shall include but not be limited to a history,\n\ncomplete physical examination, developmental assessment,\n\nanticipatory guidance, appropriate immunizations and laboratory\n\ntests in keeping with prevailing medical standards;\n\n3. \"Health care insurer\" means any entity that provides health\n\ninsurance in this state. For the purposes of the Oklahoma Child\n\nHealth Insurance Reform Act, insurer includes but is not limited to\n\na licensed insurance company, not-for-profit hospital service or\n\nmedical indemnity corporation, a fraternal benefit society, a health\n\nmaintenance organization, a prepaid health plan, a multiple employer\n\nwelfare arrangement or any other entity providing a plan of health\n\ninsurance or health benefits subject to state regulation; and\n\n4. \"Health benefit plan\" means any group hospital or medical\n\npolicy or certificate, contract of insurance provided by a not-for-\n\nprofit hospital service or medical indemnity plan, prepaid health\n\nplan, or health maintenance organization subscriber contract.\n\nHealth benefit plan does not include accident-only, credit, dental,\n\nvision, Medicare supplement, long-term care, specified disease,\n\nhospital indemnity, or disability income insurance, coverage issued\n\nas a supplement to liability insurance, workers' compensation or\n\nsimilar insurance, any plan, or automobile medical payment\n\ninsurance.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a26ac5fe81f6d8bf875d17453221ceef078b709a8a43ee2b9a6d8bb47cddb5b3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-3201","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-3203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
