Stat. tit. 36, § 36-3302","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) Act:\n\n1. \"Insurance group\" shall mean, for the purpose of conducting\n\nan Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA), those insurers and\n\naffiliates included within an insurance holding company system as\n\ndefined in Section 1651 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n2. \"Insurer\" shall have the same meaning as set forth in\n\nSection 103 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes, except that it\n\nshall not include agencies, authorities or instrumentalities of the\n\nUnited States, its possessions and territories, the Commonwealth of\n\nPuerto Rico, the District of Columbia or a state or political\n\nsubdivision of a state;\n\n3. \"Own Risk and Solvency Assessment\" or \"ORSA\" shall mean a\n\nconfidential internal assessment, appropriate to the nature, scale,\n\nand complexity of an insurer or insurance group, conducted by that\n\ninsurer or insurance group of the material and relevant risks\n\nassociated with the insurer or insurance group's current business\n\nplan, and the sufficiency of capital resources to support those\n\nrisks;\n\n4. \"ORSA Guidance Manual\" shall mean the current version of the\n\nOwn Risk and Solvency Assessment Guidance Manual developed and\n\nadopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners\n\n(NAIC), as amended from time to time.
