The Insurance Commissioner may conduct such examinations and\n\ninvestigations of matters, within the scope of the authority of the\n\nCommissioner, as the Commissioner may deem proper to secure\n\ninformation useful in the lawful administration of the applicable\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Insurance Code and other statutes for\n\nwhich the Commissioner has jurisdiction.\n\nB. The Insurance Commissioner shall have the authority to\n\nemploy actuaries, statisticians, accountants, attorneys, auditors,\n\ninvestigators or any other technicians as the Insurance Commissioner\n\nmay deem necessary or beneficial to examine any filings for rate\n\nrevisions made by insurers or advisory organizations and to examine\n\nsuch records of the insurers or advisory organizations as may be\n\ndeemed appropriate in conjunction with the filing for a rate\n\nrevision in order to determine that the rates or other filings are\n\nconsistent with the terms, conditions, requirements and purposes of\n\nthe Insurance Code, and to verify, validate and investigate the\n\ninformation upon which the insurer or advisory organization relies\n\nto support such filing.\n\n1. The Commissioner shall maintain a list of technicians\n\nqualified pursuant to rules adopted by the Commissioner who are\n\nproficient in the lines of insurance being reviewed. Upon request\n\nof the Commissioner, the Commissioner shall employ the next\n\navailable technician in rotation on the list, proficient in the line\n\nor lines of insurance being reviewed. The Commissioner may deviate\n\nfrom the list when employing technicians for loss cost filings\n\npursuant to Section 901.5 of this title.\n\n2. All reasonable expenses incurred in such filing review shall\n\nbe paid by the insurer or advisory organization making the filing.\n\nC. The Commissioner shall employ examiners to ensure that the\n\nrates which have been approved by or filed with the Commissioner are\n\nthe rates which are being used by the insurer or by the insurers\n\nwhose advisory organization has had a rate approval or rate filing.\n\n1. Any insurer or company examined pursuant to the provisions\n\nof this section shall pay all reasonable charges incurred in such\n\nexamination including the actual expense of the Commissioner and the\n\nexpenses and compensation of the authorized representative of the\n\nCommissioner and the expense and compensation of assistants and\n\nexaminers employed therein.\n\n2.
