Stat. tit. 36, § 36-362","heading":"Fees – Transfer to Attorney General’s Insurance Fraud Unit","body":"Revolving Fund.\n\nAn annual fee of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) shall be\n\npaid to the Insurance Commissioner to be expended by the Insurance\n\nCommissioner for the purposes of investigation of suspected\n\ninsurance fraud and civil or administrative action in cases\n\ninvolving suspected insurance fraud. The following shall pay an\n\nannual fee of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) to the Insurance\n\nDepartment which shall be payable quarterly in the amount of One\n\nHundred Eighty-seven Dollars and fifty cents ($187.50): Life,\n\naccident and health insurers; property and casualty insurers; county\n\nmutual fire insurers; mutual benefit associations; fraternal benefit\n\nsocieties; reciprocal insurers; motor service clubs; title insurers;\n\nnonprofit insurers; health maintenance organizations (HMOs); service\n\nwarranty associations; surplus lines carriers; multiple employer\n\nwelfare arrangements (MEWAs); trusts which write surety policies;\n\nprepaid dental plan organizations; and accredited reinsurers. The\n\npayments shall be due on or before the last day of the month\n\nfollowing each calendar quarter. Beginning in the calendar year\n\n2010, payment of the annual fee shall be made as one payment of\n\nSeven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) which shall be paid on or\n\nbefore July 1. Within sixty (60) days after each calendar quarter\n\nin which monies are collected, the Commissioner shall transfer\n\ntwenty-five percent (25%) of all monies collected by the Insurance\n\nDepartment pursuant to this section to the Attorney General’s\n\nInsurance Fraud Unit Revolving Fund created in Section 19.3 of Title\n\n74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, for use by the Attorney General in the\n\ninvestigation and prosecution of insurance fraud.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c28ae36868a0ba9091df2c50f65822e1bc97ec7e44f0c5b3527ba6fe735d2efb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-3619","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-3620"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
