Premiums paid for coverage of life, accident and health\n\ninsurance shall be refunded from the date of death of the insured to\n\nthe premium due date.\n\n1. The refund of premium shall be on a daily pro-rata basis.\n\n2. Premium refunds shall be provided within ninety (90) days\n\nfrom the date of valid proof of loss has been received.\n\nB. As it pertains to this section, life, accident and health\n\ninsurance coverage shall include any policy, contract, plan or\n\nagreement of life, accident and health insurance, or subscriber\n\ncertificates of life or medical care corporations, health care\n\ncorporations, hospital service associations, or health care\n\nmaintenance organizations, delivered or issued for delivery in this\n\nstate by any insurer; any certificate, contract or policy issued by\n\na fraternal benefit society; any policy or certificate issued\n\npursuant to a group insurance policy delivered or issued for\n\ndelivery in this state; and any evidence of coverage issued by a\n\nhealth maintenance organization.
