Any person who has an application pending or who has\n\nreceived medical assistance from the Department of Human Services\n\nand files a claim with any insurer for benefits shall at that time\n\nadvise the insurer of the receipt of or pending application for\n\nmedical assistance from the Department of Human Services in\n\nconnection with the same medical expenses. It shall be the duty of\n\nthe Department of Human Services to notify the applicant for medical\n\nassistance of the requirements of this section.\n\nB.
