Stat. tit. 36, § 36-4018","heading":"Incontestability; annuities","body":"If any statements, other than those relating to age, sex and\n\nidentity are required as a condition to issuing an annuity or pure\n\nendowment contract, other than a reversionary, survivorship, or\n\ngroup annuity, and subject to Section 4020 of this article, there\n\nshall be a provision that the contract shall be incontestable after\n\nit has been in force during the lifetime of the person or of each of\n\nthe persons as to whom such statements are required, for a period of\n\ntwo (2) years from its date of issue, except for nonpayment of\n\nstipulated payments to the insurer; and at the option of the insurer\n\nsuch contract may also except any provisions relative to benefits in\n\nthe event of disability and any provisions which grant insurance\n\nspecifically against death by accident or accidental means.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a491eaa6a6f289984e16219e290c18de8bda4234d0ae4921aac2a0728cdd990c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4017","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4019"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
