Stat. tit. 36, § 36-402","heading":"Persons prohibited from engaging in business of insurance","body":"- Exception - Penalty.\n\nA. No person who has been convicted of any criminal felony\n\ninvolving dishonesty or a breach of trust, or who has been convicted\n\nof an offense under Section 1033 of Title 18 of the United States\n\nCode, shall engage or participate in the business of insurance in\n\nthis state or do any of the acts of an insurance business as set\n\nforth in Section 4 of this act.\n\nB. A person described in subsection A of this section may\n\nengage in the business of insurance or participate in such business\n\nif such person has the written consent of the Insurance\n\nCommissioner.\n\nC. A person who violates subsection A of this section or any\n\nrule promulgated pursuant thereto is subject to a civil penalty of\n\nnot more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for each act of\n\nviolation and for each day of violation.\n\nD.
