Stat. tit. 36, § 36-4020","heading":"Misstatement of age; annuities","body":"In an annuity or pure endowment contract, other than a\n\nreversionary, survivorship, or group annuity, there shall be a\n\nprovision that if the age of the person or persons upon whose life\n\nor lives the contract is made, or any of them, has been misstated,\n\nthe amount payable or benefits accruing under the contract shall be\n\nsuch as the stipulated payment or payments to the insurer would have\n\npurchased according to the correct age; and that if the insurer\n\nshall make or has made any overpayment or overpayments on account of\n\nany such misstatement, the amount thereof, with interest at the rate\n\nto be specified in the contract but not exceeding six percent (6%)\n\nper annum, may be charged against the current or next succeeding\n\npayment or payments to be made by the insurer under the contract.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"89176c2c35273253b4c836a8f88691205d91420f7a1cd5f475fa488df6f8db64","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-402","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4021"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
