Whenever the Insurance Commissioner has reason to believe or\n\nit appears that any person has violated subsection A of Section 2 of\n\nthis act, the Insurance Commissioner may:\n\n1. Revoke any license or registration issued or approved by the\n\nInsurance Commissioner;\n\n2. Issue an ex parte cease and desist order under the\n\nprocedures provided by Section 5 of this act;\n\n3. Institute in the district court of Oklahoma County a civil\n\nsuit for injunctive relief to restrain the person from continuing\n\nthe violation;\n\n4. Institute in the district court of Oklahoma County a civil\n\nsuit to recover a civil penalty as provided for in Section 2 of this\n\nact; or\n\n5. Exercise any combination of the acts provided for in this\n\nsubsection.\n\nB. On application for injunctive relief and a finding that a\n\nperson is violating or threatening to violate any provision of the\n\nCrimes By or Affecting Persons Engaged in the Business of Insurance\n\nAct or order of the Insurance Commissioner issued pursuant to the\n\nCrimes By or Affecting Persons Engaged in the Business of Insurance\n\nAct, the district court shall grant the injunctive relief and the\n\ninjunction shall be issued without bond.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c901435374197063c442f3c029f5666706408e02f70a79d002597bd2df0c265b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4029","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
