No policy provision which is not\n\nsubject to section 4405 of this article shall make a policy, or any\n\nportion thereof, less favorable in any respect to the insured or the\n\nbeneficiary than the provisions thereof which are subject to this\n\narticle.\n\nB. Policy Conflicting with this Article. A policy delivered or\n\nissued for delivery to any person in this state in violation of this\n\narticle shall be held valid but shall be construed as provided in\n\nthis article.
