Stat. tit. 36, § 36-4503","heading":"Direct payment of hospital, medical services","body":"Any group accident and health policy may provide that subject to\n\nany written direction of the insured in the application or\n\notherwise, all or any portion of any indemnities provided by any\n\nsuch policy on account of hospital, nursing, medical or surgical\n\nservices may, at the insurer's option, and unless the insured\n\nrequests otherwise not later than the time of filing proofs of such\n\nloss, be paid directly to the hospital or person rendering such\n\nservices; but the policy may not require that the service be\n\nrendered by a particular hospital or person.
