Stat. tit. 36, § 36-4901","heading":"Sole surety on official bonds","body":"Whenever any bond, recognizance, or undertaking is required or\n\npermitted to be made for the security or protection of any person or\n\nmunicipality, the state, or any department thereof, or organization,\n\nconditioned for the doing or not doing of anything therein\n\nspecified, any such board, court, organization or officer required\n\nor permitted to accept or approve of the sufficiency of such bond,\n\nrecognizance, or undertaking, may accept and approve the same when\n\nexecuted, or when the conditions thereof are guaranteed, solely by\n\nan insurer authorized to transact a surety business in this state in\n\naccordance with the requirements of this code. Whenever any such\n\nbond, recognizance, or undertaking is required to be made with one\n\nsurety or with two or more sureties, the execution of the same, or\n\nthe guarantee of the performance of the conditions thereof, shall be\n\nsufficient when so executed or guaranteed solely by one such\n\ninsurer, and shall be a full compliance with every requirement of\n\nevery law, ordinance, or regulation relating to the same, and no\n\njustification by such insurer shall be necessary.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b0154b28a717ed4052ecad6ed6291f03ac61478f0ddb47d5c9a5713d519e3377","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4809","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-4902"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
