Stat. tit. 36, § 36-6050","heading":"Prepaid or discounted ambulance service membership","body":"subscriptions.\n\nAll persons, companies, governmental entities or trust\n\nauthorities operating an ambulance service within this state may\n\nsell prepaid or discounted ambulance service membership\n\nsubscriptions to individuals who reside within its authorized\n\nservice area in exchange for payment of an annual membership fee.\n\nThe agreement between the ambulance service and an individual shall\n\nnot be deemed to be insurance and shall expressly provide for the\n\nassignment of insurance benefits directly to the ambulance service.\n\nUnder such assignment, the insurer shall be obligated directly to\n\nthe ambulance service for the lesser of the full and customary\n\ncharge by the ambulance service or the designated or allowable\n\namount set forth by the insurance policy for any services actually\n\nrendered to the individual by the ambulance service during the\n\nmembership year less any applicable deductible or copayment.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a7c0c50faf192b2fe51e783b54f35c49a57954824daeb183a55e6370953ec33f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-605","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-6050.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
