As used in this section:\n\n1. “Health benefit plan” has the same meaning as provided by\n\nSection 6060.4 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes; and\n\n2. “Medically necessary” means services or supplies provided by\n\na health care provider that are:\n\na. provided for the diagnosis of syphilis,\n\nb. necessary for and appropriate to the diagnosis of\n\nsyphilis,\n\nc. within the generally accepted standards of medical\n\ncare in the community, and\n\nd. not solely for the convenience of the insured, the\n\ninsured’s family, or the provider.\n\nB.
