Stat. tit. 36, § 36-6103.5","heading":"Emergency cease and desist orders - Grounds for","body":"issuance.\n\nThe Insurance Commissioner may issue a cease and desist order,\n\nex parte, if:\n\n1. The Commissioner believes:\n\na. an unauthorized person is engaging in the business of\n\ninsurance in violation of Section 6103.2 of this title\n\nor in violation of a rule promulgated pursuant to\n\nSections 6103.1 through 6103.11 of this title, or\n\nb. an unauthorized person engaged in the business of\n\ninsurance acting in violation of Section 6103.3 of\n\nthis title is committing an unfair method of\n\ncompetition or an unfair or deceptive act or practice\n\nin violation of Section 1201 et seq. of this title or\n\nin violation of any rule promulgated pursuant thereto,\n\nor\n\nc. an unauthorized person or individual is engaging in\n\nthe business of bail bonds in violation of Section\n\n6103.2 of this title or in violation of a rule\n\npromulgated pursuant to Sections 6103.1 through\n\n6103.11 of this title; or\n\n2.
