Stat. tit. 36, § 36-612.2","heading":"Workers' compensation insurance - Required capital and","body":"surplus.\n\nAfter November 1, 1987, no insurer who requests to write\n\nworkers' compensation insurance in this state shall be permitted to\n\ntransact the business of workers' compensation insurance in this\n\nstate unless the insurer possesses and maintains a surplus as\n\nregards policyholders, as defined in Section 610 of Title 36 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, in excess of Five Million Dollars\n\n($5,000,000.00).
