Stat. tit. 36, § 36-6142","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Prepaid Dental Plan Act:\n\n1. \"Member\" means an individual who is enrolled in a group\n\nprepaid dental plan as a principal subscriber, and dependents who\n\nare entitled to dental care services under the plan solely because\n\nof their status as dependents of the principal subscriber.\n\n2. \"Membership coverage\" means any certificate or contract\n\nissued to a member specifying the dental coverage to which said\n\nmember is entitled.\n\n3. \"Prepaid dental plan\" means any contractual arrangement\n\nwhereby any prepaid dental plan organization undertakes to provide\n\npayment of dental services directly, or to arrange for prepaid\n\ndental services, or to pay or make reimbursement for any dental\n\nservices not provided for by other insurance.\n\n4. \"Prepaid dental plan organization\" means any person who\n\nundertakes to conduct one or more prepaid dental plans providing\n\nonly dental services.\n\n5. \"Prepaid dental services\" means services included in the\n\npractice of dentistry in all of its branches as defined in Section\n\n328.3 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\n6. \"Provider\" means any person licensed or otherwise\n\nauthorized to furnish prepaid dental services in this state other\n\nthan an authorized insurer.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6f613060319e544f950acbe44723d2971b5074edeb01dd5551d9b4a73fb30cff","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-6141","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-6143"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
