Stat. tit. 36, § 36-628","heading":"Retaliation","body":"When by or pursuant to the laws of any other state or foreign\n\ncountry any premium or income or other taxes, or any fees, fines,\n\npenalties, licenses, deposit requirements or other material\n\nobligations, prohibitions or restrictions are imposed upon Oklahoma\n\ninsurers doing business, or that might seek to do business in such\n\nother state or country, which in the aggregate are in excess of such\n\ntaxes, fees, fines, penalties, licenses, deposit requirements or\n\nother obligations, prohibitions or restrictions directly imposed\n\nupon similar insurers of such other state or foreign country under\n\nthe statutes of this state, so long as such laws continue in force\n\nor are so applied, the same obligations, prohibitions and\n\nrestrictions of whatever kind shall be imposed upon similar insurers\n\nof such other state or foreign country doing business in Oklahoma.\n\nAll insurance companies of other nations shall be held to the same\n\nobligations and prohibitions that are imposed by the state where\n\nthey have elected to make their deposit and establish their\n\nprincipal agency in the United States. Any tax, license or other\n\nobligation imposed by any city, county or other political\n\nsubdivision of a state or foreign country on Oklahoma insurers or\n\ntheir agents shall be deemed to be imposed by such state or foreign\n\ncountry within the meaning of this section.
