Stat. tit. 36, § 36-6457","heading":"Exemptions","body":"A purchasing group and its insurer or insurers shall be subject\n\nto all applicable laws of this state, except that a purchasing group\n\nand its insurer or insurers shall be exempt, in regard to liability\n\ninsurance for the purchasing group, from any law of this state that\n\nwould:\n\n1. Prohibit the establishment of a purchasing group;\n\n2. Make unlawful an insurer providing advantages to a\n\npurchasing group or its members based on the loss and expense\n\nexperience of the group or its members including but not limited to\n\nadvantages on rates, policy forms and coverage, that is not afford\n\nto other persons or entities;\n\n3. Prohibit a purchasing group or its members from purchasing\n\ninsurance on a group basis described in paragraph 1 of this section;\n\n4. Prohibit a purchasing group from obtaining insurance on a\n\ngroup basis because the group has not been in existence for a\n\nminimum period of time or because any member has not belonged to the\n\ngroup for a minimum period of time;\n\n5. Require that a purchasing group must have a minimum number\n\nof members, common ownership or affiliation, or certain legal form;\n\n6. Require that a certain percentage of a purchasing group must\n\nobtain insurance on a group basis;\n\n7. Otherwise discriminates against a purchasing group or any of\n\nits members; or\n\n8.
