No person, firm, association or corporation shall act or aid\n\nin any manner in soliciting, negotiating, or procuring liability\n\ninsurance in this state from a risk retention group unless such\n\nperson, firm, association or corporation is licensed as an insurance\n\nagent or a broker, pursuant to the Oklahoma Insurance Code.\n\nB. 1. No person, firm, association or corporation shall act or\n\naid in any manner in soliciting, negotiating, or procuring liability\n\ninsurance coverage in this state for a purchasing group from an\n\nauthorized insurer or a risk retention group unless such person,\n\nfirm, association or corporation is licensed as an insurance agent a\n\nbroker pursuant to the Oklahoma Insurance Code.\n\n2. No person, firm, association or corporation shall act or aid\n\nin any manner in soliciting, negotiating, or procuring liability\n\ninsurance coverage in this state from any member of a purchasing\n\ngroup under a policy of a purchasing group unless such person, firm,\n\nassociation or corporation is licensed as an insurance agent or a\n\nbroker pursuant to the Oklahoma Insurance Code.\n\n3. No person, firm, association or corporation shall act or aid\n\nin any manner in soliciting, negotiating or procuring liability\n\ninsurance from an insurer not authorized to do business in this\n\nstate on behalf of a purchasing group located in this state unless\n\nthe person, firm, association or corporation is licensed as a\n\nsurplus lines agent or excess line broker pursuant to the Oklahoma\n\nInsurance Code.\n\nC. For purposes of acting as an agent or broker for a risk\n\nretention group or purchasing group pursuant to subsections A and B\n\nof this section, the requirement of residence in this state shall\n\nnot apply.\n\nD.
