Stat. tit. 36, § 36-6470.30","heading":"Sponsor of sponsored captive insurance company","body":"A sponsor of a sponsored captive insurance company must be an\n\ninsurer licensed pursuant to the laws of a state, an insurance\n\nholding company that controls an insurer licensed pursuant to the\n\nlaws of any state and subject to registration pursuant to the\n\ninsurance holding company system laws of the state of domicile of\n\nthe insurer, a reinsurer authorized or approved pursuant to the laws\n\nof a state, or a captive insurance company formed or licensed\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Captive Insurance Company Act, a holding\n\ncompany, a trust, an individual or other organization as permitted\n\nby the Insurance Commissioner.
