Except as provided in subsection B of this section, the\n\nUniform Health Carrier External Review Act shall apply to all health\n\ncarriers.\n\nB. The provisions of the Uniform Health Carrier External Review\n\nAct shall not apply to a policy or certificate that provides\n\ncoverage only for a specified disease, specified accident or\n\naccident-only coverage, credit, dental, disability income, hospital\n\nindemnity, long-term care insurance, as defined in Section 4424 of\n\nTitle 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes, vision care or any other limited\n\nsupplemental benefit or to a Medicare supplement policy of\n\ninsurance, as defined in Section 3611.1 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, coverage under a plan through Medicare, Medicaid, or the\n\nfederal employees health benefits program, any coverage issued under\n\nChapter 55 of Title 10, U.S. Code and any coverage issued as\n\nsupplement to that coverage, any coverage issued as supplemental to\n\nliability insurance, workers’ compensation or similar insurance,\n\nautomobile medical-payment insurance or any insurance under which\n\nbenefits are payable with or without regard to fault, whether\n\nwritten on a group blanket or individual basis.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6d9ebbaf5092c006455d836043cb22052e7218dd5defd0f0801ce9d26050a685","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-6475.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-6475.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
