Stat. tit. 36, § 36-6555","heading":"Rules - Forms - Issuance of certificate - Reporting","body":"requirements - Confidentiality.\n\nA. The Insurance Commissioner may promulgate and adopt rules to\n\nimplement the provisions of this section.\n\nB. The Commissioner shall develop standardized forms for\n\nregistration, performing and implementing certification requirements\n\npursuant to the Hospital and Medical Services Utilization Review\n\nAct.\n\nC. The Commissioner shall issue a certificate to an applicant\n\nthat has met all the requirements of the Hospital and Medical\n\nServices Utilization Review Act and applicable rules.\n\nD. The Commissioner may establish reporting requirements to:\n\n1. Evaluate, based upon the information furnished pursuant to\n\nthe provisions of this act, the effectiveness of private review\n\nagents; and\n\n2. Determine if the utilization review programs are in\n\ncompliance with the provisions of the Hospital and Medical Services\n\nUtilization Review Act and applicable rules.\n\nE. Any information required by the Commissioner with respect to\n\ncustomers, patients or utilization review procedures of a private\n\nreview agent shall be held in confidence and shall not be disclosed\n\nto the public. However, a patient or a person with financial\n\nresponsibility for a patient's bill shall be entitled to information\n\nand documents relating to them and their claim.\n\nF. A certificate issued pursuant to the Hospital and Medical\n\nServices Utilization Review Act is not transferable.\n\nG.
