Stat. tit. 36, § 36-707","heading":"\"Casualty insurance\" defined","body":"\"Casualty insurance\" includes vehicle insurance as defined in\n\nSection 706 and accident and health insurance as defined in Section\n\n703, of this article, and in addition includes:\n\n1. Liability insurance, which is insurance against legal\n\nliability for the death, injury, or disability of any human being,\n\nor for damage to property; and provision of medical, hospital,\n\nsurgical, disability benefits to injured persons and funeral and\n\ndeath benefits to dependents, beneficiaries or personal\n\nrepresentatives of persons killed, irrespective of legal liability\n\nof the insured, when issued as an incidental coverage with or\n\nsupplemental to liability insurance.\n\n2. Workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance,\n\nwhich is insurance of the obligations accepted by, imposed upon, or\n\nassumed by employers for death, disablement, or injury of employees.\n\n3. Burglary and theft insurance, which is insurance against\n\nloss or damage by burglary, theft, larceny, robbery, forgery, fraud,\n\nvandalism, malicious mischief, confiscation, or wrongful conversion,\n\ndisposal, or concealment, or from any attempt at any of the\n\nforegoing, including supplemental coverages for medical, hospital,\n\nsurgical, and funeral benefits sustained by the named insured or\n\nother person as a result of bodily injury during the commission of a\n\nburglary, robbery, or theft by another; also insurance against loss\n\nof or damage to monies, coins, bullion, securities, notes, drafts,\n\nacceptances, or any other valuable papers and documents, resulting\n\nfrom any cause.\n\n4. Personal property floater insurance, which is insurance upon\n\npersonal effects against loss or damage from any cause.\n\n5. Glass insurance, which is insurance against loss or damage\n\nto glass, including its lettering, ornamentation, and fittings.\n\n6. Boiler and machinery insurance, which is insurance against\n\nany liability and loss or damage to property or interest resulting\n\nfrom accidents to or explosion of boilers, pipes, pressure\n\ncontainers, machinery, or apparatus, and to make inspection of and\n\nissue certificates of inspection upon boilers, machinery, and\n\napparatus of any kind, whether or not insured.\n\n7. Leakage and fire extinguishing equipment insurance, which is\n\ninsurance against loss or damage to any property or interest caused\n\nby the breakage or leakage of sprinklers, hoses, pumps, and other\n\nfire extinguishing equipment or apparatus, water pipes and\n\ncontainers, or by water entering through leaks or openings in\n\nbuildings, and insurance against loss or damage to such sprinklers,\n\nhoses, pumps, and other fire extinguishing equipment or apparatus.\n\n8. Credit insurance, which is insurance against loss or damage\n\nresulting from failure of debtors to pay their obligations to the\n\ninsured.\n\n9. Malpractice insurance, which is insurance against legal\n\nliability of the insured, and against loss, damage, or expense\n\nincidental to a claim of such liability, and including medical,\n\nhospital, surgical, and funeral benefits to injured persons,\n\nirrespective of legal liability of the insured, arising out of the\n\ndeath, injury, or disablement of any person, or arising out of\n\ndamage to the economic interest of any person, as the result of\n\nnegligence in rendering expert, fiduciary, or professional services.\n\n10. Entertainments insurance, which is insurance indemnifying\n\nthe producer of any motion picture, television, radio, theatrical,\n\nsport, spectacle, entertainment, or similar production, event, or\n\nexhibition against loss from interruption, postponement, or\n\ncancellation thereof due to death, accidental injury, or sickness of\n\nperformers, participants, directors, or other principals.\n\n11. Miscellaneous insurance, which is insurance against any\n\nother kind of loss, damage, or liability properly a subject of\n\ninsurance and not within any other kind of insurance as defined in\n\nthis article, if such insurance is not disapproved by the Insurance\nement, or\n\ncancellation thereof due to death, accidental injury, or sickness of\n\nperformers, participants, directors, or other principals.\n\n11.
