No insurer shall retain any risk on any one subject of\n\ninsurance, whether located or to be performed in Oklahoma or\n\nelsewhere, in an amount exceeding ten percent (10%) of its surplus\n\nto policyholders.\n\nB. A \"subject of insurance\" for the purposes of this section,\n\nas to insurance against fire and hazards other than windstorm or\n\nearthquake, includes all properties insured by the same insurer\n\nwhich are customarily considered by underwriters to be subject to\n\nloss or damage from the same fire or other such hazard insured\n\nagainst.\n\nC. Reinsurance authorized by Section 711 of this article shall\n\nbe deducted in determining risk retained. As to surety risks,\n\ndeduction shall also be made of the amount assumed by any\n\nestablished incorporated cosurety and the value of any security\n\ndeposited, pledged, or held subject to the surety's consent and for\n\nthe surety's protection.\n\nD. \"Surplus to policyholders\" for the purpose of this section\n\nshall be deemed to include any voluntary reserves which are not\n\nrequired pursuant to law, and shall be determined from the last\n\nsworn statement of the insurer on file with the Insurance\n\nCommissioner or by the last report of examination by the Insurance\n\nCommissioner, whichever is the more recent at time of assumption of\n\nsuch risk.\n\nE. As to alien insurers, other than life insurers domiciled in\n\nCanada, this section shall relate only to risks and surplus to\n\npolicyholders of the insurer's United States branch.\n\nF.
