Stat. tit. 36, § 36-901.5","heading":"Filing of advisory prospective loss costs and supporting","body":"actuarial data and statistical data for workers' compensation\n\ninsurance.\n\nA. Rating organizations shall develop and file for approval\n\nwith the Insurance Commissioner in accordance with the provisions of\n\nthis section, a filing containing advisory prospective loss costs\n\nand supporting actuarial and statistical data for workers'\n\ncompensation insurance. Each insurer shall individually file their\n\nown specific profit and expense factors used to determine the final\n\nrates it will file for approval and the effective date of any rate\n\nchanges.\n\nB. As used in this section:\n\n1. \"Expenses\" means that portion of a rate attributable to\n\nacquisition, field supervision, collection expenses, general\n\nexpenses, taxes, licenses and fees;\n\n2. \"Rate\" means the cost of insurance per exposure unit,\n\nwhether expressed as a single number or as a prospective loss cost\n\nwith an adjustment to account for the treatment of expenses, profit\n\nand variations in loss experience, prior to any application of\n\nindividual risk variations based on loss or expense considerations,\n\nand does not include minimum premiums; and\n\n3. \"Prospective loss costs\" means that portion of a rate that\n\ndoes not include provision for expenses (other than loss adjustment\n\nexpenses) or profit, and is based on historical aggregate losses and\n\nloss adjustment expenses adjusted through development to its\n\nultimate value and projected through trending to a future point in\n\ntime.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fc5a4dbbbd177675f4680b57caa1373cf6589987975a1c202c6a7a04ee65b0fb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-901.4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-902"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
