Stat. tit. 36, § 36-942","heading":"Motor vehicle liability or collision policies - Traffic","body":"record as basis of determination - Penalties.\n\nAny insurance carrier that issues motor vehicle liability or\n\ncollision insurance policies in this state shall not establish or\n\napply premium rates, increase premium rates, cancel a policy, or\n\nrefuse to issue or renew a policy, based on any traffic record\n\nmaintained by the Department of Public Safety which covers a period\n\nof time more than three (3) years prior to the date the insurance\n\ncarrier makes a determination to take any such action; provided\n\nhowever, those offenses that are provided for in subsection C of\n\nSection 941 of this title and the offense of reckless driving as\n\nprovided for in Section 11-901 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes\n\nmay be considered by an insurance carrier for a period of not more\n\nthan five (5) years.","path":["OK Code","Title 36"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os36.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3eb6e4a76af3e6daf5147e2c280fec1e18fc0dd203675f85a5aa5f15da5230d3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-941.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-36-36-943"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
