Beginning January 1, 2006, every insurer, as defined by\n\nSection 3 of this act, may offer mine subsidence coverage, upon the\n\nrequest by the policyholder, on policies, as defined by Section 3 of\n\nthis act, issued or renewed, insuring residences, living units and\n\ncommercial buildings.\n\nB.
