A private carrier license may be issued to any carrier other\n\nthan a common carrier described in Section 35 of this act. Such\n\nlicense shall authorize the holder thereof to transport alcoholic\n\nbeverages other than wine sold directly by a winemaker or winery to\n\na retail package store or restaurant into, within, or out of this\n\nstate under such terms, conditions, limitations and restrictions as\n\nthe ABLE Commission may prescribe by order issuing such license and\n\nby rule. No carrier license or private carrier license shall be\n\nrequired of licensed brewers, distillers, winemakers, rectifiers,\n\nwholesalers or beer distributors, to transport alcoholic beverages\n\nfrom the place of purchase or acquisition to the licensed premises\n\nof such licensees and from such licensed premises to the licensed\n\npremises of the purchaser in vehicles owned or leased by such\n\nlicensee when such transportation is for a lawful purpose and not\n\nfor hire.\n\nB. No carrier license or private carrier license shall be\n\nrequired of the holder of a retail spirits, retail wine, retail\n\nbeer, mixed beverage, caterer, special event, hotel beverage, public\n\nevent or airline/railroad license to pick up alcoholic beverage\n\norders from the licensee's wholesaler, beer distributor or holder of\n\na small brewer self-distribution license or brewpub self-\n\ndistribution license from whom they are purchased and to transport\n\nsuch alcoholic beverages from the place of purchase or acquisition\n\nto the licensed premise of such licensees in vehicles owned or under\n\nthe control of such licensee or a licensed employee of such licensee\n\nunder such terms, conditions, limitations and restrictions as the\n\nABLE Commission may prescribe.","path":["OK Code","Title 37A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os37A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b69449075e2c10d8aac2efa8906f0c71062f21e110d61462f0da49033b207a30","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-37a-37a-2-123","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-37a-37a-2-125"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
