Stat. tit. 37A, § 37A-2-141","heading":"Applicants for certain licenses to publish a notice of","body":"intention to apply.\n\nApplicants for original brewer, distiller, winemaker, rectifier,\n\nwine and spirits wholesaler, beer distributor, mixed beverage, beer\n\nand wine, bottle club, caterer, retail spirits, retail wine or\n\nretail beer licenses shall, prior to applying for such license,\n\ntwice publish, in such form and containing such information as the\n\nABLE Commission shall by rule prescribe, a notice of its intention\n\nto apply for any such license, once a week for two (2) successive\n\nweeks in a legal newspaper of general circulation within the county\n\nwhere the proposed premises is to be located, and file proof of such\n\npublication with the ABLE Commission. Unless otherwise provided,\n\nthe ABLE Commission shall give notice of approval or disapproval of\n\nan application for a license within thirty (30) days after the\n\nfiling of the application. The ABLE Commission shall give notice of\n\napproval or disapproval of an application for a mixed beverage, beer\n\nand wine, bottle club or caterer license within sixty (60) days\n\nafter the filing of the application. Provided, the ABLE Commission\n\nmay extend the period for making a determination of whether to\n\napprove or disapprove an application an additional thirty (30) days\n\nfor good cause. The ABLE Commission may conditionally approve any\n\napplication which is subject to Section 54 of this act if:\n\n1. Construction, modification or alteration of premises\n\nproposed for licensed operations is not completed; and\n\n2. The applicant furnishes a conditional certification issued\n\nby the municipality or county that the applicant's plans and\n\nspecifications indicate that the proposed premises will comply with\n\nthe municipality's or county's zoning, fire, safety and health\n\ncodes.\n\nThe ABLE Commission shall issue its final notice of approval\n\nwhen the applicant furnishes final certificates required by Section\n\n54 of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 37A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os37A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"46d508ee50d6c321f442369a5f8576039d79261fd912aa2d44abf117b0001fb5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-37a-37a-2-140","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-37a-37a-2-142"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
