Stat. tit. 37A, § 37A-4-106","heading":"Enforcement of the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control","body":"Act.\n\nAll sheriffs, marshals and police officers, all district and\n\ncity or town attorneys and all employees of the ABLE Commission,\n\nshall diligently enforce all provisions of the Oklahoma Alcoholic\n\nBeverage Control Act. If any such person shall fail or refuse to do\n\nor perform any duty required by the provisions of such statutes, he\n\nor she shall be removed from office as hereinafter provided. In all\n\ncases where any sheriff, marshal, police officer, district or city\n\nor town attorney shall fail or refuse to perform any such duty, a\n\npetition shall be filed in the district court of the county wherein\n\nsuch person resides, in the name of the state, upon the\n\nrecommendation of a grand jury or on the relation of the board of\n\ncounty commissioners or of any attorney appointed by the Governor\n\nunder the provisions of applicable statutes. In all cases where an\n\nemployee of the ABLE Commission fails to perform any duty imposed\n\nupon him or her, such failure shall constitute cause for the\n\ntermination of any such employee as provided by law. The Oklahoma\n\nState Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nNarcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control shall also have enforcement\n\nauthority for the provisions of the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage\n\nControl Act with the power to initiate complaints with the ABLE\n\nCommission and by filing charges, if appropriate, with the district\n\nattorney in the county where the violation occurred.","path":["OK Code","Title 37A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os37A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"db476774a018a2296d4832af0a503f459b06eb8caa8d38f4d9e8c52504a6b972","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-37a-37a-4-105","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-37a-37a-5-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
