The Commission shall meet at such times and places within\n\nthis state as the Commission determines. The members of the\n\nCommission shall annually elect a chairman, vice-chairman, and\n\nsecretary from the membership of the Commission. No member of the\n\nCommission shall serve more than two (2) successive terms as\n\nchairman. A majority of the members shall constitute a quorum.\n\nB. The proceedings of all meetings of the Commission shall\n\ncomply with the provisions of the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act.\n\nC. The Attorney General shall advise the Commission and\n\nrepresent it in all legal proceedings or actions resulting from the\n\nexercise of the powers and duties of the Commission pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act; however, nothing in\n\nthis section shall be construed to prohibit the Commission from\n\nengaging private counsel if they deem it necessary to protect the\n\nintegrity of horse racing in Oklahoma.\n\nD. Each member of the Commission shall receive Fifty Dollars\n\n($50.00) for each day spent in the actual discharge of duties for\n\nthe Commission. All members of the Commission shall be reimbursed\n\nfor expenses incurred in the performance of their duties pursuant to\n\nthe provisions of the State Travel Reimbursement Act.\n\nAdded by State Question No. 553, Initiative Petition No. 315,\n\nadopted at election held Sept. 21, 1982.
