At each pari-mutuel race meeting held pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act the Oklahoma Horse\n\nRacing Commission shall employ three individuals to be stewards. At\n\nnon-pari-mutuel race meetings and for training races, the\n\norganization licensee may employ its own stewards in accordance with\n\nthe rules of the American Quarter Horse Association or have the\n\nCommission employ the stewards as provided in this subsection. The\n\nCommission shall designate one of the individuals as chief steward\n\nand the other two individuals as assistant stewards. If employed by\n\nthe Commission, the compensation of the stewards, including but not\n\nlimited to salaries, benefits and other reimbursable expenses as\n\ndetermined by the Commission, shall be paid by the Commission.\n\nB. All other racing personnel shall be employed for race\n\nmeetings as the Commission deems necessary. All other racing\n\npersonnel required by the Commission at non-pari-mutuel race\n\nmeetings or training races may be employed by the organization\n\nlicensee in accordance with the rules of the American Quarter Horse\n\nAssociation. The compensation of racing personnel employed by the\n\nCommission, including but not limited to salaries, benefits and\n\nreimbursable expenses, shall be paid by the Commission.\n\nC. The stewards and other racing officials at pari-mutuel race\n\nmeetings, at non-pari-mutuel race meetings and at training races\n\nshall enforce the rules and regulations of the Commission and the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act in the manner provided\n\nby law and shall render written reports of the activities and\n\nconduct of the race meetings to the Commission.
