Stat. tit. 3A, § 3A-203.7","heading":"Purpose and intent of act - Rules and regulations","body":"\n\nIn the interest of the public health, safety, and welfare, it is\n\nhereby declared to be the purpose and intent of the Oklahoma Horse\n\nRacing Act to vest in the Commission plenary power to promulgate\n\nrules and regulations for the forceful control of race meetings held\n\nin this state. The rules and regulations shall:\n\n1. encourage agriculture and the breeding of horses in this\n\nstate; and\n\n2. maintain race meetings held in this state of the highest\n\nquality and free of any horse racing practices which are corrupt,\n\nincompetent, dishonest, or unprincipled; and\n\n3. dissipate any cloud of association with the undesirable and\n\nmaintain the appearance as well as the fact of complete honesty and\n\nintegrity of horse racing in this state; and\n\n4. generate public revenues.","path":["OK Code","Title 3A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e6b742c9cb28fdd781aab282e76901e698b8a8953ffe9a58d3ef8fc6576b449e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3a-3a-203.6","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3a-3a-203.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
