Stat. tit. 3A, § 3A-205.2a","heading":"Ownership interest in organization license","body":"Whenever an organization license to conduct a horse race meeting\n\nhas been issued, no person shall in any manner become the owner or\n\nholder, directly or indirectly, of any shares of stock or\n\ncertificates or other evidence of ownership of any interest in such\n\norganization licensee without first having obtained the approval of\n\nthe Commission. The Commission may, after hearing, revoke such\n\norganization license granted to any person which shall register on\n\nits books in the name of any person its shares of stock or\n\ncertificates or other evidence of ownership of any interest in such\n\norganization licensee without the approval of the Commission having\n\nfirst been obtained, or which shall knowingly permit a person to be\n\ndirectly or indirectly interested in its shares of stock or\n\ncertificates or other evidence of ownership of any interest in such\n\norganization license without reporting the same to the Commission.\n\nWhenever the Commission gives to any person its approval to own or\n\nhold the shares of stock or certificates or other evidence of\n\nownership of any interest in any such organization licensee it shall\n\nby registered mail notify the secretary of such licensee of such\n\napproval. Under no circumstances shall the Commission give such\n\napproval to any person who has been convicted of a felony or a crime\n\ninvolving moral turpitude, unless said person has been granted a\n\nfull and unconditional pardon.
