The Oklahoma State Athletic Commission may employ an\n\nadministrator to oversee the organization and activities of the\n\nCommission and to ensure compliance with rules promulgated by the\n\nCommission. The administrator shall perform such other duties as\n\nthe Commission may prescribe. The salary of the administrator shall\n\nbe set by the Commission. The position of administrator shall be an\n\nunclassified position.\n\nB. The Commission may employ an assistant to keep records of\n\nall proceedings relating to professional combative sports and\n\namateur mixed martial arts and to preserve all books, documents, and\n\npapers belonging to the Commission. The assistant shall perform\n\nsuch other duties as the Commission may prescribe. The Commission\n\nmay employ such other personnel as necessary.\n\nC. Persons employed by the Commission shall serve at the\n\ndirection and pleasure of the Commission and shall answer directly\n\nto the Commission administrator and the Commission.\n\nD. The administrator, the assistant, and any other employees of\n\nthe Commission or any persons related to said employees within the\n\nthird degree by either consanguinity or affinity shall be prohibited\n\nfrom promoting, sponsoring, or having any pecuniary interest in any\n\nprofessional combative sports event or amateur mixed martial arts\n\nevent regulated by the Commission with the exception of medical\n\npersonnel.\n\nE. Beginning on the effective date of this act, the Commission\n\nshall cease all support from the State Department of Health and\n\nshall be deemed to be a separate and distinct agency. All records,\n\nproperty, equipment, assets, monies, financial interests,\n\nliabilities, matters pending, and funds of the Commission shall be\n\ntransferred to the Commission.\n\nF. The State Department of Health and the Commission may enter\n\ninto an agreement for the transfer of personnel from the State\n\nDepartment of Health to the Commission. No employees of the\n\nCommission shall be required to accept a lesser grade or salary than\n\npresently received. All employees shall retain leave, sick and\n\nannual time earned, and any retirement and longevity benefits which\n\nhave accrued during their tenure with the State Department of\n\nHealth. The transfer of personnel shall be coordinated with the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services.\n\nG.
