Any person who violates the provisions of the Oklahoma State\n\nAthletic Commission Act, upon first conviction, shall be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor and shall be punished by the imposition of a fine of not\n\nmore than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or by incarceration in\n\nthe county jail for not more than thirty (30) days or by both such\n\nfine and incarceration. Any person convicted of a second or\n\nsubsequent violation shall be guilty of a felony punishable by a\n\nfine of not more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) or by\n\nincarceration in the county jail for a term of not more than one (1)\n\nyear or by incarceration in the custody of the Department of\n\nCorrections for a period of not more than two (2) years or by both\n\nsuch fine and incarceration. The Oklahoma State Athletic Commission\n\nshall suspend or revoke the license of any person convicted of\n\nviolating the provisions of the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission\n\nAct.\n\nB. In addition to other penalties provided by law, if after a\n\nhearing in accordance with the provisions of Section 601 et seq. of\n\nthis title, the Commission shall find any person licensed by the\n\nCommission to be in violation of any of the provisions, such person\n\nmay be subject to an administrative fine of not more than Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00) or not more than one percent (1%) of gross\n\nrevenues received for each violation. Each day a person is in\n\nviolation of the provisions of Section 601 et seq. of this title may\n\nconstitute a separate violation. All administrative fines collected\n\npursuant to the provisions of this subsection shall be placed to the\n\ncredit of the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission Revolving Fund\n\ncreated pursuant to the provisions of Section 601 et seq. of this\n\ntitle. Administrative fines imposed pursuant to this subsection\n\nshall be enforceable in the district courts of this state.\n\nC. Upon the request of the Commission, the Attorney General or\n\nthe district attorney of the appropriate district court may make\n\napplication to the appropriate court for an order enjoining the acts\n\nor practices prohibited by the provisions of Section 601 et seq. of\n\nthis title, and upon a showing that the person has engaged in any of\n\nthe prohibited acts or practices, an injunction, restraining order,\n\nor other order as may be appropriate shall be granted by the court.","path":["OK Code","Title 3A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os3A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b9b737ec105ea00e800adeaacc5c29101126af0cb4716ea1e89da29caeac1d70","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3a-3a-614","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-3a-3a-616"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
