Stat. tit. 4, § 4-149","heading":"Fence or improvements on land of another - Removal -","body":"Damages - Notice to remove - Effect of nonremoval.\n\nWhen a person has made a fence or other improvements on land,\n\nwhich, on afterwards making division lines, is found to be on the\n\nland of another, such person shall not remove such fence or other\n\nimprovements, until he shall have paid to the owner of such land all\n\ndamages by reason of such improvements or fence being so located,\n\nand if the person making such fence or other improvements fail to\n\npay such damages and remove the said improvements within six (6)\n\nmonths after such division line has been established, and after\n\nhaving thirty (30) days' notice from the owner of said land to\n\nremove such fence or improvements, then said fence or improvements\n\nshall become a part of the real estate and belong to the owner\n\nthereof: Provided, that when the parties interested in such land\n\nand such fence and improvements cannot agree as to the amount of\n\nsuch damages, by reason of such improvements being upon the land of\n\nanother, the fence viewers may determine the amount of such damages\n\nas in other cases.","path":["OK Code","Title 4"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os4.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0e9261b7a9712927befb287ff7ff6eb31b46847b94a8a20cf4696172f062137b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-4-4-148","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-4-4-150"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
