Stat. tit. 40, § 40-141.14","heading":"Inspection report - Inspection record - Certificate of","body":"operation - Suspension of certificate.\n\nA. 1. Each authorized inspection agency employing special\n\ninspectors meeting the requirements of subsection A of Section 9 of\n\nthis act shall, within thirty (30) days following each inspection\n\nmade by such inspectors, file an exact copy of the report of the\n\ninspection with the chief boiler inspector upon appropriate forms as\n\npromulgated by the Commissioner of Labor; and\n\n2. Each company operating pressure vessels covered by owner-\n\nuser inspections service meeting the requirements of subsection B of\n\nSection 9 of this act shall maintain in its files an inspection\n\nrecord which shall list, by number and such abbreviated description\n\nas may be necessary for identification, each pressure vessel covered\n\nby this act, the date of the last inspection of each pressure vessel\n\nand the approximate date for the next inspection. The inspection\n\nrecord shall be available for examination by the chief inspector or\n\nhis authorized representative during business hours. Each such\n\ncompany shall, in addition, file annually with the chief inspector a\n\nstatement, signed by the individual having supervision over the\n\ninspections made during the period covered thereby, stating the\n\nnumber of pressure vessels covered by this act inspected during the\n\nyear and certifying that each such inspection was conducted pursuant\n\nto the inspection requirements provided for by this act.\n\nSuch annual statement shall be accompanied by a fee equal to\n\nthat shown in subparagraph c of paragraph 2 of subsection A of\n\nSection 16 of this act.\n\nB. If the report filed pursuant to subsection A of this section\n\nshows that a boiler or pressure vessel is found to comply with the\n\nrules and regulations of the Commissioner of Labor and upon direct\n\npayment to the Department of Labor by the owner or user of the fee\n\nprescribed shall issue the owner or user a certificate of operation.\n\nThe certificate of operation shall be valid for a period consistent\n\nwith the inspection frequency as required by Section 13 of this act.\n\nIn the case of those boilers and pressure vessels covered by\n\nparagraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4 of subsection B of Section 13 of this act\n\nfor which the Commissioner of Labor has established or extended the\n\noperating period between required inspections, pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of paragraph 7 or 8 of subsection B of Section 13 of this\n\nact, the certificate of operation shall be valid for a period of not\n\nmore than two (2) months beyond the period set by the Commissioner.\n\nCertificates of operation for boilers shall be posted under glass,\n\nor similarly protected, in the room containing the boiler. Pressure\n\nvessel certificates of operation shall be posted in like manner, if\n\nconvenient, or filed where they will be readily accessible for\n\nexamination by the Commissioner, chief boiler inspector or deputy\n\ninspector.\n\nC. The chief boiler inspector or deputy inspectors may at any\n\ntime suspend a certificate of operation if the boiler or pressure\n\nvessel for which it is issued is deemed a menace to the public\n\nsafety, or when the boiler or pressure vessel is found not to comply\n\nwith the rules and regulations herein provided.
