Stat. tit. 40, § 40-142.5","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Alternative Fuels Technician Certification Act:\n\n1. \"Alternative fuels\" means liquefied petroleum gas, natural\n\ngas and liquid fuels produced from natural gas, methanol, ethanol,\n\nelectricity, coal-derived liquid fuels, hydrogen, biodiesel and\n\nfuels derived from biological materials;\n\n2. \"Alternative fuels equipment technician\" means any person\n\nwho installs, modifies, repairs or renovates equipment used in the\n\nconversion of any engines to engines fueled by alternative fuels.\n\nThis includes originally equipped manufactured engines dedicated to\n\noperate on an alternative fuel;\n\n3. \"Alternative fuels compression technician\" means any person\n\nwho installs, services, modifies, repairs or renovates fill\n\nstations;\n\n4. \"Committee\" means the Committee of Alternative Fuels\n\nTechnician Examiners;\n\n5. \"Compressed natural gas vehicular fuel system\" means an\n\nobject or objects mounted, installed, attached or otherwise placed\n\nupon or within a vehicle or vehicle trailer to supply or assist in\n\nthe supply of compressed natural gas as a fuel to an internal\n\ncombustion engine or engines;\n\n6. \"Electric vehicle technician\" means any person who installs,\n\nmodifies, repairs, performs maintenance on, or renovates onboard\n\ncharging systems, motors, controllers, power sources, or the drive\n\nsystems of vehicles powered by electricity that is greater than\n\neighty (80) volts.
