{"data":{"id":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-165.4","jurisdiction":"us-ok","citation":"Okla. Stat. tit. 40, § 40-165.4","heading":"Bona fide disagreements","body":"\n\nA. In order to successfully allege a bona fide disagreement\n\nover the amount of wages, the employer shall:\n\n1. Pay such amount as the employer concedes to be due, without\n\ncondition, within the time required by Sections 165.2 and 165.3 of\n\nthis title; and\n\n2. Provide to the employee, within fifteen (15) days of either\n\nreceipt of a wage claim form from the Department of Labor or\n\ncertified mail receipt of written demand from an employee, written\n\nexplanation of the relevant facts and/or evidence which supports the\n\nbelief of the employer that the wages in dispute are not owed.\n\nB. Acceptance by the employee of any payment made under this\n\nsection shall not constitute a release as to the balance of the wage\n\nclaim.\n\nC. Payment in accordance with this section shall constitute\n\npayment for the purposes of complying with Sections 165.2 and 165.3\n\nof this title only in those instances where there exists a bona fide\n\ndisagreement over the amount of wages as defined by Section 165.1 of\n\nthis title.\n\nD.
