Stat. tit. 40, § 40-2-419","heading":"Acceptance of accelerated buyout of employment contract","body":"- Definition.\n\nAn individual shall be disqualified for unemployment benefits if\n\nthat individual has accepted an accelerated buyout of a written\n\nemployment contract from the employer. Disqualification under this\n\nsection shall continue for the full period of unemployment next\n\nensuing after the individual has accepted the contract buyout\n\nconnected with the work of the individual and until such individual\n\nhas become reemployed and has earned wages equal to or in excess of\n\nten times the weekly benefit amount of the individual.\n\nFor purposes of this section, “accelerated buyout” shall mean a\n\npurchase of the remaining terms of a written employment contract in\n\na single payment of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) or\n\nmore.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"11a02aee6baca0e305b8cc9499d4e7b1f80e96cb296d097ef488761328b02c80","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-2-418","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-2-420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
