A determination upon a claim\n\nfor benefits shall be made promptly by a representative of the\n\nOklahoma Employment Security Commission. It shall include a\n\nstatement as to whether, and in what amount claimant is entitled to\n\nbenefits for the week with respect to which the determination is\n\nmade. In the event the claimant is determined to be ineligible for\n\nor disqualified from benefits under Part 2 or Part 4 of this\n\nArticle, the determination shall state the reasons therefor. The\n\ninitial determination in a benefit year shall include a statement as\n\nto whether the claimant has been paid the wages required under this\n\nact, and if so, the beginning and ending dates of the benefit year,\n\nthe weekly benefit amount, and the maximum total amount of benefits\n\npayable to him or her with respect to such benefit year.\n\nB. The Commission shall do the following to verify the\n\neligibility of an initial claim for benefits before paying benefits\n\nto that claim:\n\n1. Require the claimant to submit proof of identity prior to\n\nhis or her claim by using an identity verification source or service\n\noffered by the Commission to verify the identity of all claimants;\n\nand\n\n2. To prevent and detect fraudulent activity, eligibility of\n\nclaims will be verified using a diverse set of data deemed\n\nbeneficial by the Commission, including but not limited to IP\n\naddresses and various other demographic data.\n\nC. The Commission shall investigate any information that may\n\nindicate claimant ineligibility prior to paying benefits for the\n\nweek in which the information was identified and any subsequent\n\nweek. The Commission may cross-check all claims against any data\n\nsets deemed beneficial by the Commission in order to verify\n\neligibility for benefits, including but not limited to:\n\n1. The National Association of State Workforce Agencies'\n\nIntegrity Data Hub;\n\n2. The United States Department of Health and Human Services\n\nNational Directory of New Hires;\n\n3. The state directory of new hires;\n\n4. Any inmate database maintained by the Oklahoma Department of\n\nCorrections;\n\n5. The Social Security Administration's Prisoner Update\n\nProcessing System;\n\n6. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National\n\nVital Statistics System's Death Record Database;\n\n7. Death records maintained by the Oklahoma Department of\n\nHealth; and\n\n8.
