Stat. tit. 40, § 40-3-608","heading":"Expenditures not subject to specific appropriation","body":"requirements.\n\nEXPENDITURES NOT SUBJECT TO SPECIFIC APPROPRIATION REQUIREMENTS.\n\n(1) Expenditures of such moneys in the benefit account and refunds\n\nfrom the clearing account shall not be subject to any provisions of\n\nlaw requiring specific appropriations or other formal release by\n\nstate officers of money in their custody. All warrants issued for\n\nthe payment of benefits and refunds shall bear the signature of a\n\nrepresentative of the Commission duly authorized for that purpose.\n\n(2) Any balance of moneys requisitioned from the unemployment\n\ntrust fund which remains unclaimed or unpaid in the benefit account\n\nafter the expiration of the period for which such sums were\n\nrequisitioned shall either be deducted from estimates for, and may\n\nbe utilized for the payment of, benefits during succeeding periods,\n\nor, in the discretion of the Commission, shall be redeposited with\n\nthe Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America, to\n\nthe credit of this state's account in the unemployment trust fund.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"57f56193e1ac04cd4de18d9361398188b498deb3ad842740239a1f6ef90bada2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-3-607","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-3-609"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
